Description of project

Monthly labor monitoring during the construction phase of the project to assess the Company, Contractor and tiered Sub-contractors’ adherence to local labor laws, international standards, lender requirements and the Project labor and working conditions commitments. Monthly monitoring report for Voltalia’s review; and HR support in the handling of worker grievances through The Company’s Internal Grievance Mechanism

Monitoring kick-off Call and Preparation;

Interviews with management and supervisory staff, and blue-collar employees of The Company project contractor and its subcontractors;

Review of relevant documentation;

On-site visits at project locations; and

Monthly Internal labor audit report and corrective action plan, including the identification of risks and gaps, and the assessment of project compliance with the Uzbek employment legislation, international labor-related human rights standards, the required EBRD, IFC standards and policies, and lender’s standards.

Ad-hoc support to the team in facilitating IGM.
